Tyler acted as overall Project and Engineering Director during the design, construction and pre-commissioning phases.
The client chose an integrated team approach, and together they made the $65-million 30,000 usgpm lamella clarifier-based physico-chemical treatment plant project come to life at the Mont Wright site in Fermont, Quebec.
Tyler built up and led a large construction management team while coordinating offsite technical support.
Delivery of the plant was divided by the client into 4 major construction packages (civil/concrete, building, mechanical, and electrical) and almost 20 pre-purchased equipment packages, all managed by the team.
Her deep knowledge of the project and its needs meant she was called on to work closely with client on a very successful “Operational Readiness” program.
Notable Achievement:
In homage to the Innu people and the Nitassinan land whose waters it is meant to protect, the plant was officially named “Nipi” at the April 2023 inauguration which means “water” in the Innu language.
At the time of inauguration, the client said, “Thank you Tyler for your incredible help with this project. You made all the difference.”
